Abstract

The qualification work provides a comprehensive linguistic and pragmatic analysis of modern commercial advertising texts, including their verbal and nonverbal components. The main definitions of modern advertising and advertising texts are presented; the typology of modern advertising texts is analysed; the main methods and techniques of linguistic and pragmatic analysis of modern advertising texts are described; the key structural and verbal components of modern advertising texts (word forms and non-verbal components) are analysed.
