Typology of sentences in the epistolary of Vasyl Stus

Abstract

The qualification work outlines the history and importance of studying the epistolary heritage; the phenomenon of Vasyl Stus’s epistolary work is clarified; the scientific study of the poet's letters is highlighted; the peculiarities of the structuring of simple uncomplicated sentences were investigated; simple formal nonelementary sentences are characterized; complex sentences were analysed; syntax features identified. Applied methods of quantitative and qualitative analysis, method of comparison, analysis and synthesis, descriptive and visual methods.
