Serhiy Zhadan’s linguistic personality (based on poetry collections)

Abstract

The qualification work presents a typological and linguistic-stylistic analysis of Serhiy Zhadan's linguistic personality based on his works (“Citation Book”, “Pepsi”, “Maradonna”, “Ethiopia”, “Voroshilovgrad”, “Boarding School”, “Depéché Maud”, “Life of Mary”, “Antenna”, “Ballad of War and Reconstruction”). The basic concepts of linguistic personality, criteria for its evaluation and general characteristics used for the analysis are presented. The leitmotifs of Serhiy Zhadan's works and the peculiarities of its functioning in the texts are considered.
