International operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to maintain peace and security in 1991-2014

Abstract

The master`s thesis examines the role of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in maintaining peace and security outside Ukraine. It is determined that the participation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in peacekeeping operations and other international operations has improved the international image of Ukraine, and has provided a number of units with experience in conducting combat operations in modern conditions. Ukraine's participation in peace and security operations has given the country a trump card in international negotiations to further seek support for Ukrainian positions and protect sovereignty.
