Nataliia Polonska-Vasylenko: A Woman Historian in a Changing Era

Abstract

This master's thesis explores the figure of the prominent Ukrainian historian Natalia Polonska-Vasylenko. It analyzes the scholar’s life journey in the context of determining the impact of both external and internal factors of the 20th century on the development of Ukrainian historical science. The author's focus is on studying Polonska-Vasylenko's biography, the works created in her honor, and the works of the scholar herself.
