Kotsyubynski: a Ukrainian family against the background of the 20th century

Abstract

In the master's thesis, guided by the prosopographic method, various aspects of the life and activities of the Kotsyubynskyi family, the central figure of which is Mykhailo Mykhailovych, are highlighted. The influence of the family on the development of the writer, the personal dimension of Mykhailo Kotsyubynskyi's children in the context of Soviet totalitarianism, the cultural aspect of the family's activities, the connection with society, which acted as a center of preservation of the writer's heritage, around which the work of the descendants was formed, are shown. The issue of commemorating the family in the public dimension of Ukraine was separately considered.
