Functioning mechanisms of international cryptocurrency markets in the context of economic instability

Abstract

The paper examines the theoretical foundations of the cryptocurrency market formation and analyses its development under conditions of uncertainty. The problems and prospects of using cryptocurrencies in the global financial system are identified. The market of cryptoassets in the Ukrainian economy in an unstable geopolitical situation is studied.
