Abstract

The origin of the Union of Lublin and its contribution to the creation of the Lublin Triangle are examined in the qualification (master's) work. In this context, the Union of Lublin, which was concluded in the 16th century, is viewed as the foundation for further cooperation between Poland and Lithuania, and the term 'Lublin Triangle' was introduced to define a type of cooperation between Poland, Lithuania, and Ukraine in later times. Historical-genetic and comparative methods were utilized to conduct the study, which is based on the principle of historicism. Additionally, the Lublin Triangle is considered an international security alliance, which explains why the alliance has become an effective mechanism for a joint response to challenges and overcoming security threats.
