Abstract

The introduction of European standards of safe living, which is one of the requirements of Ukraine's integration into the EU, is possible only if conceptual and methodological innovations and institutional transformations are implemented. Back in 2014, such transformations in the management system of the Unified State System of Civil Protection included the introduction of modern risk management methods to reduce the number and minimise the socio-economic consequences of disasters and ensure effective management.
