Transformation of the social security system in Ukraine under martial law

Abstract

The paper examines the theoretical, methodological and practical aspects of the transformation of the social protection system in Ukraine under martial law. The essence and approaches to defining the category "social protection" are considered. The directions and functions of the social protection system are outlined. Social risks due to martial law have been established. The institutional and legal basis of the functioning of the social protection system in Ukraine is analyzed. The socioeconomic consequences of a full-scale Russian invasion are studied. The peculiarities of the functioning of the social protection system of Ukraine in the conditions of war have been determined. The foreign experience of social protection of combatants and internally displaced persons is characterized. The priority directions of the transformation of the social protection system in the conditions of martial law have been determined.
