This study is dedicated to the laboratory diagnosis of piroplasmosis in domestic animals, specifically in cats and dogs. The research involved the use of smear analysis methods to detect the pathogenic agent Babesia canis and identify the degree of infection. The results of the study confirmed the presence of piroplasmosis and provided crucial information for clinical conclusions and further prevention and treatment of this disease.
