Growth parameters of some types of medicinal plants under the influence of laser irradiation

Abstract

In the qualification work, the growth parameters of two types of medicinal plants (Origanum vulgare L. and Thymus serpyllum L.) under the influence of laser irradiation were investigated. It has been established that irradiation with LED laser systems has a positive effect on medicinal plants and their growth parameters. It was determined that Origanum vulgare L. responds better to the blue spectrum of light and its germination is much faster, while Thymus serpyllum L., on the contrary, responds better to the red spectrum of light.
