Abstract

In the qualification work, the state of pollution of the air basin of the city of Hnivan (Vinnytsia region) was investigated based on the use of indicators of fluctuating asymmetry of leaves of Betula pendula Roth. It was established that Betula pendula Roth has the greatest technogenic impact. occurs in places located near industrial enterprises, along streets with intensive traffic flow, and dense residential buildings. It has been confirmed that as the distance to the pollution source increases, the fluctuating asymmetry index decreases.
