In the qualification (master's) work, the interrelationship of the influence of individual and psychological characteristics of the personality on the perception of death during the war was investigated. The theoretical and methodological analysis of the meaning of life and the perception of death during the war at different age stages of personality development and the empirical study of the relationship between these constructs are shown. It has been established that at different stages of life, individuals react differently to stressful situations related to death and war, and the attitude to death affects the internal picture of the world, transforming the understanding of life goals, the essence of one's "I", locus of control and others important components of the value-motivational sphere. When developing psychological support programs in the conditions of a military conflict, it is recommended to take into account individual characteristics and age factors of the personality, the programs themselves should be aimed at helping people to feel the meaning of their own existence and overcome the fear of death in the conditions of war and the trials caused by it.
