The verb of the Ukrainian and English languages in the plane of grammatical pragmatics (on the material of journalistic discourse)

Abstract

The master's thesis is devoted to studying the peculiarities of the use of the verb in the Ukrainian and English languages in the context of grammatical pragmatics. The work offers a systematic approach to studying the grammatical pragmatics of verbs, focusing on the differences and similarities between the Ukrainian and English languages. A comparative analysis of grammatical constructions and their role in speech structure in both languages is carried out. The study's results allow us to reveal and determine the mutual influence of verbs on the pragmatic dimension of speech expression.
