English Hyponyms in the Structural and Semantic Aspect

Abstract

The Master's thesis is devoted to the study of hyponyms in the English language linguistic culture, namely their semantic and structural features, and the principles of nomination of the modern English hyponymicon.
The material of the study includes English nouns selected by the method of continuous sampling from the register lists of proper names, namely from the analytical website with official materials of the British Horseracing Authority, and ratings related to equestrian sport. The sample size is 400 lexical items.
