Cognitive-Conceptual and Functional-Pragmatic Manifestations of the Discourse of Attention in English and Ukrainian Linguistic Spaces

Abstract

This master's thesis investigates the cognitive-conceptual and functionalpragmatic aspects of the discourse of attention in English and Ukrainian, with a focus on intercultural context. The work examines both cultural and linguistic differences in the expression of attention, offering a deep analysis of the linguistic features that shape the intercultural discourse of attention. Special attention is given to the study of communicative genres and their usage in different linguistic-cultural contexts. The work makes a significant contribution to the development of intercultural communication and translation studies, opening new directions for further research.
