Lexico-Semantic and Functional Peculiarities of Evaluative Vocabulary Aimed at Creating Images of Female Criminals in Modern English Literary Discourse

Abstract

The master’s paper is devoted to the study of theoretical aspects of the study of evaluative lexical units and the investigation of their lexical-semantic and functional features, as well as the peculiarities of reproducing evaluative language vocabulary in translations of English-language literature works of fiction.
The object of the research is evaluative language vocabulary at creating images of female criminals in modern English literary discourse. In the research process, search, contextual, descriptive and comparative research methods were used.
