Semantic and stylistic features of emotionally expressive vocabulary (based on prose works by Yevhen Hutsal)

Abstract

The qualification work investigates the semantic and stylistic features of emotionally expressive vocabulary in the prose works of Yevhen Hutsal for children. The place of the analysed layer of vocabulary in the lexicon of the Ukrainian language is determined; the state of its study in linguistics and literary studies is analysed; the most common classification groups are presented; the peculiarities of functioning and semantic potential in the texts of prose fiction for children are characterised.
