Semantic and communicative-pragmatic potential of proper names in the letters of Vasyl Stus

Abstract

The qualification work characterizes the current state of onomastic research; the classification principles of proper names are considered; the semantic structure and stylistic load of onymic vocabulary are treated, its communicative and pragmatic specificity in epistolary works is determined. The onymic vocabulary in the epistolary of Vasyl Stus was inventoried, it was classified according to thematic groups, its meaning features and communicative and pragmatic functions were established.
