Organizational and structural peculiarities of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army

Abstract

In the qualifying work, based on the analysis of sources and literature, the organizational structure of the Ukrainian insurgent army is reproduced. The historiographical discussion regarding the emergence of the UPA is highlighted. The ideological basis of the army's activity is analyzed. Its organizational and territorial structure is characterized. Peculiarities of command bodies and the formation of senior staff of the UPA were analyzed. Special attention in the work is paid to the military tactics of the UPA and the peculiarities of its application.
